My background is in history, philosophy and creative writing. I have done research for several period stories I wrote when it came to architecture, fashion and period jargon. I became enamored by the clothing of men and women in history through the research I conducted before writing my stories. I mostly specialize in Victorian and Edwardian fashion, but I also have knowledge in fashion history stretching as far back as the ancient world along with non-European fashion history.
